Patrick Bauchau (born December 6 1938) is a Belgian actor. His big break came in the form of the 1985 James Bond film A View to a Kill, in which he played a villainous henchman to Christopher's Walken character, named Scarpine. He went on to appear on shows such as House and The Pretender in substantial roles. In 1989 he guest-starred in Murder, A Self Portrait, the premiere episode of the ninth season of Columbo, playing murderous artist Max Barsini. He is one of three actors to have been both a Bond villain and a Columbo killer, following Donald Pleasence and Louis Jourdan.
